SET GOALS WITH A REASON


It is easy to say that many of us want to lose weight and get lean or gain muscle and weight, whatever the goal, but have you asked yourself why you want to achieve these type of goals? Our Why in life is very important because every goal must have a meaning. It does not necessarily have to make sense to others but more importantly, it has to have value to us. Create SMART goals :

Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic Time-based

You have to start off by being specific about why you want it, for example, I want to lose fat because I want to be stronger and healthier for my family. You need to measure your progress just like when you do the BMI test every month and your goals need to be achievable just like when you have a Training plan and Nutrition which will be the tools to get you from point A to point B. You have to be realistic when setting goals as we can only lose for example an X amount of fat per month, so we have to understand that targets are always set in realistic values. Time-based means that we need to plan, lets say achieve your dream physique in the period of one year.
